Is the WTBTS mistaken or deceptive?
by exwhyzee inwhen i look back at history, i see the great lengths people have gone to, to prove their devotion to god and to carry out what they though to be his will.. do you think the watchtower organization is truly trying to deceive people and cover things up or do you think they are honestly misguided or mistaken in some of their beliefs and policies ?
if so, what purpose would they have for doing this?.

by UnDisfellowshipped intrinity challenge using only the new world translation of the holy scriptures -- let us debate and reason on the scriptures about whether god almighty is a trinity, or is only one person.. on another thread, bane said that we know for a fact immediately that nearly all religions other than jehovah's witnesses are false because almost all of them believe in the trinity.
and bane claims he can "out-scripturize" anyone with the help of jehovah.

Thank you for your comments. I talked with an elder several years ago and discussed Hebrews. I would agree that with this verse that Jesus isn't an angel.
If I devote myself to money and become a slave to it, it becomes my god. If i devote myself to Christ and am a footstep follower and slave of him he is my god. I cannot serve two gods.
Worship seems an integral part of the definition of God.

I have read this thread with interest. As a JW I totally rejected the trinity and for years after; I'm unsure. I tend to favour the trinity as explaining Christ relationship to God. I'm not well read on the subject, I probably should be. Life is busy.
One question with John 1. In the beginning ect. The word was a god. If no one was there to who was he a god other than God if no one was there to worship him. I'm assuming this is before ALL creation, in the beginnning.

Are we saying that some people just can't help it whilst others can. If you get caught on judgement day screwing to bad, if before your alright. How many people in the kingdom hall expect salvation although they have been immoral. They expect to be forgiven. Were they ignorant of God's view.

HOW will all be judged, HOW will the truth be manifest to God's followers?
by EndofMysteries ini'm not giving anything away, but at the same time i'm giving a clue for those seeking the answers.. god's word and on the quest for the truth, is designed in a way, which the path is crooked and narrow.
it's crooked and narrow in the sense of the traps on the way.
if a person is self exalted, haughty, or is inclined to be that way, he will find 'his' truth, which will be a snare, and cause him to falsely judge others.

by cantleave indo you still refer to them as "us" or "them"?.
to me they are definitely "them"..
